We must identify how a kid is processing language so that we can provide the appropriate types of support and provide appropriate recommendations. When used in conjunction with clinical observation and knowledge of language processing, this checklist can be helpful in determining if a child may be a GLP. There is no scoring; however, if there are many "Yes, sometimes" and "Yes, often" responses, it would suggest that a child may be a GLP. It not a definitive measure, but a helpful tool for guiding conversations and gathering information.
